Mass intentions for the week from 16th October 2021

From 6th September 2021, public health measures permit up to 50% capacity of each Church, until all capacity restrictions are due to be lifted on 22nd October. We await the announcement next week about the easing of restrictions that is due. If it goes ahead, the normal schedule of Masses will re-commence from next Friday 22nd October, with Mass at 10am instead of 7pm. However, this will be clarified on the parish Facebook and website when the situation becomes clearer.

*N.B. No Mass on Thursday 21st due to Chrism Mass in Galway Cathedral.*

For now, 1 metre physical distancing between those not of the same household is required, both between those sitting beside each other, but also, please don’t sit directly behind somebody in the seat in front of you.

The opening of all seats now means that the distribution of Holy Communion has returned to the method used in normal times. People should come up gently and not crowd around.

You are reminded to please sanitise your hands on entering and on leaving the Church.

The wearing of face-coverings continues to be mandatory, except for children under 13 years of age and those who are medically exempt.
