Cyber bullying & Internet safety

Brendan Smyth will give a talk on cyber bullying/internet safety next  Wed. 22nd April at 8.30pm in Doorus N. S.
This should be a very informative talk on the pitfalls of using the internet and how to ensure the safety of our children’s use of the internet. All welcome .

Darkness into Light

South Galway Mental Health Awareness Group

You are invited to a meeting Tuesday 21st April at 9pm in The Pier Head. This meeting is hosted by Kinvara GAA and Camogie Clubs in conjunction with the South Galway Mental Health Awareness Group. A presentation will be given on the night by Margaret Tierney, Business Development Manager of Console, on how QPR ( Question, Persuade Refer ) can be utilised to assist someone who may be considering suicide. Members of Kinvara Gaa & Camogie have recently completed a course in the role of Gatekeeper, and this will be outlined on the night.
