Relics of St Bernadette Pilgrimage

Later this year, the relics of St Bernadette will journey on pilgrimage to Ireland for the very first time. This very special once in a lifetime event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the special gifts and charisms of Lourdes.

The Relics will visit the Diocese of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora and the Diocese of Clonfert from the 5th – 8th September, 2024.

Parkmore Cemetery Mass 2024

Mass was celebrated within the ruins of the fourteenth century Church in Parkmore Cemetery on 5th July 2024, and was offered for those buried in the cemetery. Many thanks to all who helped in the preparations for the Mass, including sacristans, the parish choir, and especially Thomas Kavanagh and those who responded to his call, who prepared the cemetery for the celebration of the Mass and the blessing of the graves.

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Mass in Parkmore Cemetery 2024

Mass will be celebrated in the ruins of the medieval Church in Parkmore Cemetery, Kinvara, this Friday 5th July 2024 at 7pm. It will the first of the cemetery Masses in Kinvara and Ballinderreen for 2024. The Mass will be offered for those buried in Parkmore Cemetery. All will be welcome. Sincere thanks to those making the preparations for the Mass.

If the weather is inclement, the Mass would move to Doorus Church, and an announcement would be made beforehand on the parish Facebook page.
