Mount Cross Cemetery

The Administrative Office of the Environment Section of Galway County Council: request that all old floral arrangements and other rubbish be removed from Mount Cross Cemetery and disposed of by each individual. Your co-operation in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Kinvara Town Twinning

Our friends from Locoal Mendon are making a return visit this year.  We will have 22 adults and 13 children ( ranging in age from 4 to 16) arriving on Saturday 15th April and leaving on Tuesday 18th ( 3 nights). We are looking for host families, they are coming by boat and so will have their own transport.  We will be organising some events during their stay. 2017 Registration – Ballinderreen Juvenile Hurling Club registration will take place in the Community Centre on Saturday Feb 18th @5:15 to 6:30pm.

Ballinderreen Healthy Club

As part of the Ballinderreen Healthy Club Project: Laura Mahony, a Performance Nutritionist who currently works full time with Connacht Rugby will be giving a talk on Sports Performance Nutrition in Ballinderreen Community Centre on Thurs 16th of Feb at 8.30pm. There will be a Q & A section on the night.  All welcome. €2 donation if desired. 

Tunes for Chernobyl

Galway Rose Rosie Burke: would like to thank everyone who supported ‘Tunes for Chernobyl’.  A total of €2295.85 was raised which goes towards Chernobyl Children International. Rosie will travel to Belarus to volunteer with the charity on the 22nd of February.
