Celebration in Galway Diocese: An opening Mass for this diocese will be celebrated by Bishop Brendan Kelly in Galway Cathedral this Tuesday, 21st August 2018 at 7.30pm. You are warmly invited to this Mass. It will be a good chance to participate in the World Meeting of Families even if you cannot get to Dublin for the events. *No Ballinderreen Mass that evening*

The World Meeting of Families 2018

Parish participation in the papal events: In the coming days, we hope to have full details about departure times of the parish buses going to Croke Park for the Festival of Families on Saturday and to the Phoenix Park to the Mass with Pope Francis on Sunday. Catherine, our parish secretary, will be in contact with ticket holders and those to whom we are able to pass on tickets that have been handed in. Please keep an eye on your messages in the days ahead. Many thanks to those who gave tickets not being used so that they can be used by others.

Buses to Croke Park & Phoenix Park: We would greatly appreciate it if those travelling on the buses would kindly pop into the parish office this week and pay for their seat in advance—€15 per person or €50 for a family of 4 or more.

Please do not block the exits in the Church Car Park

Loop Hearing Aid System

loopThis system is now installed in St. Colman’s Church, Ballinderreen, St. Colman’s Church, Kinvara and St. Joseph’s Church, Kinvara. However, this system will not be available in St. Kieran’s Church, Doorus as the Church is too small for it to be effective.

In order to avail of this facility please switch your Hearing Aid to the ‘T’ position.

Induction loop systems are invaluable in assisting hearing aid users to understand spoken language, particularly in situations where there is background noise. Hopefully, this will be of great benefit to all hearing aid users.
