the students of New Quay National School will be walking part of their journey to School from Mon. 1st – Fri. 12th Feb. At approx. 8.45am for those 10 week days, the children will begin their walk as a large group, with adults, from Brian Farrell’s house to school. We ask road users to take the necessary precautions.

Holy Land Pilgrimage 2016
Fr. Benny McHale has organised a pilgrimage to the Holy Land from June 7th to June 17th 2016. Contact him A.S.A.P. to avoid disappointment on 091-244881. The Holy Land is very safe and pilgrims have no need to worry about security.
Film Night
The film ‘The Great Debaters’ is based on a true story from 1930’s America. A team, from a little-known black college in Texas, are inspired and mentored by their courageous teacher (played by Denzel Washington) Despite racial discrimination and oppression they debate their rights with dignity, inspiration and unexpected outcomes. Tea and biscuits served beforehand. All welcome.
