Harvest Thanksgiving & Family Mass

Sun. Oct. 9th We celebrate and give thanks for the gifts of our locality and community. This is also our monthly Family Mass.

St. Sourney’s Well

Drumacoo Cemetery Committee have made extensive improvements to make easy access. Sincere thanks to all volunteers who made this possible especially Tommy Keenan who let us use his land for access.

‘Working together to make a difference’
Ballinderreen Church 8 pm each evening.

Friday evening will also include Mass celebrated by Fr. Malachy, who said his First Mass in Ballinderreen in 1966. There will be a chance to meet and chat afterwards on the Friday evening in the Community Centre over a cup of tea. A warm welcome is extended to all the people of the community and surrounding areas.

Are you one of our older members of the Gort Community? Do you suffer from loneliness? Would you love to be able to pick up the phone and chat to someone who understands what this is like? For the price of a local call you can ring the Senior Help Line on 1850 440 444 and talk to someone of your own age group, all in strictest confidence? All volunteers are fully trained, sensitive and caring, and there to help. You can phone between the hours of 10am and 8pm; 7 days a week.
