Galway City Corpus Christi Procession

Sunday, 18th June the Feast of Corpus Christi. Mass at 3pm in the Abbey Church, St. Francis Street and concludes with Benediction at Poor Clare Monastery, Nuns Island.  All are welcome.

Server Supervision

Thanks to all the parents who attended with their children at the training for Altar Servers on June 2nd. As explained on the night, Child Protection Guidelines make it necessary to have a Supervisor present at all times while the servers are in the Sacristy. To volunteer for becoming a Supervisor the Application Form for Garda Vetting needs to be completed and returned to the Parish Office Secretary, Catherine, by June 21st.

An Afternoon Pilgrimage

to St Colman’s Cell In Slieve  Carran: Sunday 25th June Starting at 3pm with Stations of the Cross at the gates to the National Park and arriving at St. Colman’s Cell where Mass will be celebrated. Directions to the site will be sign posted. For more information call Paula on 091-635164

Are helping to co-ordinate visits to some residents of Blake Manor Nursing Home.  We are looking for people who have an hour to spare per week with an interest in joining our social team.  This might be of interest to transition year students also.
