27/12/2015 :: Feast of the Holy Family
Buíochas
Christmas is one of the times of the year that we priests acknowledge the goodness and generosity of our Parishioners. I would like to say a sincere word of thanks for the kindness, support and encouragement that I have received throughout the year. I am blessed to have such an extraordinary number of people who are actively involved in the life of the Parishes in Ballinderreen and Kinvara. Your commitment, help and understanding towards me is fantastic and greatly appreciated. My thanks to all who help in a special way with the Sunday Liturgy, Readers, Altar Servers, Eucharistic ministers, Basket Collectors and Counters. To all involved in the decoration of our Churches and the individuals who enhance our Churches with floral displays throughout the year; to the various people who take responsibility for the Church sacristies, setting up for Mass and opening and closing the Churches. I acknowledge the work of the Pastoral Council, Parish Representatives, the volunteers for Eucharistic Adoration, the Church managers. I am conscious of the contribution our Teachers make in handing on the Faith; we acknowledge all the work and effort schools have put into Carol services and pageants in recent days. Thanks to all who serve on the Boards of Management of our Primary Schools. A special thanks to our Choirs, Cantors, to our Parish Secretary, Caretakers, Cleaners and the dozens of people who voluntarily help in making the Parishes of Kinvara and Ballinderreen such alive and welcoming communities in which to live. Finally, I would like to thank each and every one of you, from the bottom of my heart, for your love and friendship. Míle Buíochas and I wish you all a very peaceful and Happy Christmas.
Fr. David Cribbin, P. P.
