Parish envelope system
Parishioners are earnestly encouraged to join the envelope box system for making the weekly offertory collection and dues collection contributions to the parish. This system makes it possible for the parish, as a registered charity, to claim a contribution from Revenue on overall contributions exceeding €250 in a year. This contribution from Revenue does not cost the contributor anything, and does not have any implications for the person’s tax affairs. New envelope boxes will be distributed in the coming weeks for 2020. Please contact the parish office in order to start receiving a box. Thank you to those who are already using the envelopes and who signed the consent form for the parish to apply to Revenue recently.

Loop Hearing Aid System
This system is now installed in St. Colman’s Church, Ballinderreen, St. Colman’s Church, Kinvara and St. Joseph’s Church, Kinvara. However, this system will not be available in St. Kieran’s Church, Doorus as the Church is too small for it to be effective.

Induction loop systems are invaluable in assisting hearing aid users to understand spoken language, particularly in situations where there is background noise. Hopefully, this will be of great benefit to all hearing aid users.
