World Youth Day has been life-transforming for millions of young people since it was first initiated by Pope John Paul II in Rome in 1986. This is be a wonderful opportunity to participate as part of the diocesan group, to join with Pope Francis and young people from all over the world in this vibrant festival of faith.

Please note that there will not be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and no Mass in Ballinderreen Church this Tuesday evening, 20th December 2022. Circumstances have changed since a different announcement was made previously about the Adoration. The Penitential Service for the parishes of the South Galway parishes will take place in Gort Church this evening at 7pm, a good chance for Christmas Confession.
