Solemnity of All Saints, Friday 1st November 2024

Mass times for the Solemnity of All Saints 2024 will be as follows:

10am, St Joseph’s, Kinvara

12 noon, St Colman’s, Kinvara

7pm, Ballinderreen

We celebrate a feast of all the Saints in Heaven, those who are in the fullness of God’s Kingdom, not just the canonised or more famous Saints, but all of them. A Saint is someone who has allowed God’s grace to work in his or her life, living in sincere love of God and neighbour, and has been brought to Heaven through union with Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The Saints are examples for us, and friends and intercessors. On this Solemnity, we celebrate the communion of the Church of Heaven and Earth.

November Lists of the Deceased

November is the month when we pray all the more fervently for the faithful departed. The November lists of the deceased are now available at the entrances to the Churches. Nine Masses will be offered during the month of November for those named on the lists. If you wish to participate in this tradition, please write the names of those you would like to have included, on the lists, and put them in the accompanying envelope, and leave back to the container you’ll see in the Churches.

Friday 8th November at 10am in St Joseph’s Church, Kinvara

Friday 15th November at 10am in St Joseph’s Church, Kinvara;
Wednesday 20th November at 9.15am in Ballinderreen Church;
Thursday 21st November at 10am in St Joseph’s Church, Kinvara;

Thanksgiving for the Harvest

We will give thanks to God for the Harvest at the 10.30am Mass in Ballinderreen this Sunday 13th October 2024. There will be tea and refreshments for all in the Acorn Centre meeting room beside the Church after Mass, so please come in for the cup of tea and chat.
