Here are some photos and a video from the Corpus Christi procession of Kinvara and Ballinderreen Parishes, held after Vigil Mass in St Joseph’s, Kinvara, on 6th June 2026.

The annual Corpus Christi procession will take place after the 7pm Vigil Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Kinvara on Saturday 6th June 2026. The procession will come out from the Church, onto the street, and around the corner onto Glebe Road, going to the green area in front of Castleview Park, concluding the Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament.

We will walk in prayer with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. All are invited, and, as is traditional, this year’s First Communion children are invited to come in their outfits to walk near the Blessed Sacrament.

If the weather is inclement, Rosary will be recited with the Blessed Sacrament exposed in the Church, concluding with Benediction.

For those who cannot attend the Mass first, you can join the procession, leaving the Church around 7.45pm.

Please note that there will not be a 10am Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Kinvara, this Friday 5th June 2026.
