Brother Brian Johnson has written to express thanks for the generosity of the parishioners of Ballinderreen and Kinvara to his mission appeal for the Franciscan Brothers last weekend. See his letter here.


There will be a parish pilgrimage to Knock on Wednesday, 21st August 2019. The bus will leave from the car-park at St Joseph’s Church, Kinvara at 11.00am, and from Ballinderreen Church car-park at 11.10am, and will depart from Knock in the evening at 6pm. There will be special celebrations in Knock on the 21st August this year as it will be the 140th anniversary day of the Apparition there. We will attend the 3pm Novena Mass in the Basilica which will be celebrated by Archbishop Michael Neary of Tuam, and the new processional statue for Knock will be blessed at that Mass. It will also be a chance to take part in the Knock Novena.
