We celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven on Friday 15th August 2025.
During Cruinniú na mBád weekend in Kinvara, Mass was celebrated at the Pier in conjunction with the festival, on Sunday 10th August 2025. Here are some photos from the day.

12 noon Mass this Sunday, 10th August 2025, will be celebrated at the Pier in Kinvara, in conjunction with the Cruinniú na mBád festival. (So, the 12 noon Mass will not be in St Colman’s Church this Sunday.) The Mass will be celebrated in Irish, in keeping with the traditions of this festival. Both Irish language billeoga and the English language missalette with newsletter will be provided so that everybody can follow the Mass. Parishioners and visitors will come together for the celebration of this unique Mass in our annual calendar.



The Doorus Cemetery Mass, Kinvara will be celebrated on Friday 25th July 2025 at 7pm.

For adults who wish to become a Catholic. Leaflets are available in the Church porches to explain further. The Rite of Catholic Initiation of Adults programme will begin in the Autumn, leading to Baptism (or reception into full communion with the Catholic Church), Confirmation, and First Holy Communion at the Easter Vigil in Galway Cathedral on Holy Saturday night, and on to continued deepening of faith and living the Christian life.



The Mount Cross Cemetery Mass, Kinvara will be celebrated on Friday 11th July 2025 at 7pm.
